Cabinet confirms transition date for Cheshire West and Chester Council Homeless Support Services

You may have seen that our contract with Cheshire West and Chester Council has been approved for an earlier end date. This means services will transfer to a new provider, either the Council or a specialist contractor, on 1 April 2026. 

For now, everything continues as normal.
forfutures is still here, continuing to support people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. There are no immediate changes to the way services are delivered. You should continue to access support, advice, and emergency help in the same way you always have. 

Cheshire West and Chester Council and forfutures will work together to manage the change and ensure services continue smoothly, with people’s wellbeing and safety at the centre of every decision. The council will keep you updated as the transition progresses.
